Executive summary
HumOff does not collect any personal data. All your progress information (smoke-free days, savings, achievements, goals) is stored exclusively on your device. No server, no cross-device sync, no user account.
Data stored
What you enter in the app —start date, previous daily cigarettes, pack cost, savings goals, calendar notes— is saved in a local SQLite database. If you uninstall the app, the information is lost.
Required permissions
- Notifications: to send you motivational reminders, health milestones, and breathing reminders (optional, can be disabled).
- Internal storage: for the local database.
We don't require location, contacts, camera, microphone, or access to other apps.
Third parties
None. HumOff has no proprietary server, no analytics SDKs, no advertising tracking. The app works fully offline.
Sensitive health data
HumOff records data about tobacco consumption that may be considered sensitive health information. All this information stays on your device and is never sent to any server. We don't share, sell, or transmit any of this data to third parties.
Your rights
You can export your progress or wipe all data from the app settings. Since we store nothing on the studio's side, there's no request to make to us. To exercise any right under GDPR, CCPA, or LGPD: since we don't receive data, we can't store, modify, or delete anything on our side.

HumOff is a wellness support tool. It does not replace professional medical consultation. If you're in the process of quitting smoking, consult with a healthcare professional.
Changes to this policy
If we update the policy, we'll publish the new version with its effective date at this same URL.
