By installing and using HumOff you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
License
etrioLab grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use HumOff on devices you own, subject to these terms.
Restrictions
You may not:
- Modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where law expressly permits.
- Distribute, sublicense or sell the app to third parties.
- Use the app for illegal activities or activities that violate third-party rights.
Medical disclaimer
HumOff is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical consultation. It is a wellness support tool.
- Information about health recovery, risks and benefits provided in the app is informational, based on public literature, does not constitute personalized medical advice.
- If you're in the process of quitting smoking, consult with a healthcare professional. There are pharmacological treatments, nicotine replacement therapy and psychological support that may be appropriate for your particular case.
- In case of medical emergency, call your local emergency services. Do not use HumOff as a substitute for emergency medical care.
Nature of the app
HumOff is a tracking and motivational support tool for smoking cessation processes. Features like the panic button, breathing exercises and HALT framework are wellness tools — they are not medical treatments.
Your responsibility
- Your health is your responsibility. Any decision about cessation, relapse, medication or treatment is yours and should be consulted with a professional.
- Backups are your responsibility. If you want to preserve your progress, export it periodically.
- The device is your responsibility. If you lose it without backup, the data is lost.
Intellectual property
The code, design, brand and assets of HumOff are property of etrioLab.
"AS IS" service
HumOff is provided "as is", without express or implied warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy of health or savings calculations, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, etrioLab will not be liable for:
- Health decisions you make based on information from the app.
- Relapses or emotional impact from using the app.
- Data loss due to uninstall, hardware failure or lack of backup.
- Indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.
Your sole remedy for malfunction is to uninstall the app.
Termination
You may stop using HumOff at any time by uninstalling the app. We may modify or discontinue the app with reasonable prior notice when possible.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The new version is published here with its effective date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic.
