What it does

Credit-card installments

Add a 12-installment purchase, Guita reflects it month after month on your card statement until it's paid off.

Multiple accounts

Cash, bank, savings, investment or cards — every transaction lands on the right account and movements stay traceable.

Recurring expenses

Subscriptions, rent, utilities — you set them once and they show up automatically every month with the previous balance carried over.

Savings goals

Define percentages of income to save and invest each month. Guita shows whether you're on track.

Why we built it this way

Personal finance apps are usually built for other markets: bank APIs that don't work in Argentina, English-only finance vocabulary, and credit-card installment models that don't match local reality. Guita started because none of them worked well for us.

The most important decision was local-first: your financial data never leaves your device. No login, no server, no leak risk. That came with complexity — modeling transfers between accounts, recurring items with carry-over balances, and installments that auto-generate future transactions — but the privacy guarantee no cloud service can match.
